Michael is a New York State licensed Physical Therapist specializing in functional strength training and sports performance. After completing undergraduate studies in Exercise Physiology at the State University of New York at Brockport, Mike graduated from Stony Brook University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His passion for sports and strength training allows him to provide personalized care whether it's rehabilitating acute, post-surgical, or chronic overuse injuries.
Mike has an extensive background in providing skilled manual therapy techniques for pain relief and enhancement of mobility. He is a certified Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS), which allows him to assess, optimize and enhance movement effectively. He is also an experienced weight lifter with a background in high school basketball, baseball, and tennis and he is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC).
His firsthand understanding of the demands and mechanics of these sports has allowed him to provide specialized guidance to those looking to improve mobility, improve functional strength, and power development to optimize movement in athletic pursuits and everyday life.
