Born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, I’ve always had a deep connection to the energy and resilience of this city. My journey in physical therapy began with a solid foundation at Hunter College, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Driven by a passion for movement and healing, I went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn. This academic path provided me with the knowledge and skills to excel in a field that aligns perfectly with my lifelong love of sports and dance.
Growing up in NYC, I was immersed in the world of volleyball and basketball, spending countless hours on the courts perfecting my game. Simultaneously, I developed a keen interest in modern hip-hop dance and choreography, drawn to its raw expression and dynamic movement. These experiences not only shaped me as an athlete and dancer but also sparked my interest in the mechanics of the human body, ultimately leading me to a career in physical therapy.
As a physical therapist, I bring a comprehensive, whole-body approach to my practice. My background in sports and dance allows me to understand the unique demands these activities place on the body, and I am adept at treating a wide range of injuries. Whether it’s a sports-related issue, chronic pain, or post-operative rehabilitation, I’m committed to helping my patients achieve optimal physical health and return to the activities they love.
In my practice, I believe in treating the body as a cohesive unit, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. My goal is to empower my patients with the tools and knowledge they need to maintain their well-being long after they leave the clinic. With a blend of evidence-based techniques and a deep understanding of the body’s movements, I strive to deliver personalized care that supports each patient’s unique journey to recovery.
During my spare time, I compete in volleyball tournaments year-round, take dance classes all over the city, choreograph and compete in dance competitions, appreciate all sorts of coffee, and refine my skills in home cuisine.
