Bridgit graduated from Elon University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and International Studies. After college, she followed her dream of moving to New York City, initially launching a career in digital marketing. In 2016, she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program which set her on a path to eventually make a 180-degree career pivot towards physical therapy. She found that physical therapy joins her passion for studying movement with a human connection.
Bridgit received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College in New York City. She has completed clinical affiliations in acute bedside, neurological inpatient, and outpatient settings with a specialty focus on pelvic floor physical therapy. Bridgit enjoys collaborating with patients to understand their unique needs. She employs an individualized approach with a tailored plan for each patient to meet their specific goals.
In addition to being a physical therapist, Bridgit enjoys traveling, running, cooking, long walks in the park with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
