Luciano’s passion for movement and health began at the young age of three when he started doing gymnastics and eventually competing as a member of the Chelsea Piers team in New York City until he was 15 years old. Luciano continued to follow his passion for movement at 16 when he began working out seriously and eventually started to take part in bodybuilding, which he continues today. Luciano’s academic career started at SUNY Brockport, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, as well as having a published research paper on the “Pathology, Surgical Intervention, and Rehabilitation of Total Knee Replacements.” While at SUNY Brockport, he was enrolled in an intensive athletic training program where he worked with various sports, ranging from women’s gymnastics to men’s ice hockey, working with them to do on-field injury assessment and rehabilitation to bring them back to sport.

Upon graduating, he worked for a year as a per diem athletic trainer, working with high school and collegiate athletes while applying for Physical Therapy school.

Luciano found himself back in New York City when he was accepted into the Physical Therapy program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. While there he gained a plethora of skills and knowledge to manage and treat a variety of injuries and conditions from neurology, pediatrics, sports, and orthopedics. During his time at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, Luciano honed his skills while working with patients in a variety of settings from acute care rehabilitation at Montefiore hospital to general outpatient treatment from clinics throughout New York City. Luciano ended his rotations at ADPT by Cynergy, where he was thrilled to be offered a full-time position.

Luciano continues to follow and spread his passion for movement and overall health by empowering and improving people’s overall function in all activities and sports by providing the highest quality and evidence-based care. In addition to being a Physical Therapist, Luciano likes to hike, snowboard, workout, travel, and spend time with his friends and family exploring in and around the city in which he grew up.
