Amie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University, solidifying her foundation in evidence-based practices. Committed to continuous growth, she also attained certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the esteemed National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Prior to becoming a DPT, Amie earned a B.A. in Integrative Biology and a minor in Toxicology from the University of California, Berkeley. This multidisciplinary foundation enriches her holistic approach to physical therapy.

Amie's fascination with movement is deeply rooted in her background as a dancer. Her proficiency in various dance disciplines, including ballet, pointe, and contemporary dance, provides her with a unique perspective on the intricacies of human motion.

Through shadowing various clinics during her undergraduate studies, she found that physical therapy allowed her to combine her interests in healthcare and movement. Amie is adept at customizing treatment plans that integrate the best of both worlds. She believes in personalized care, adapting her strategies to your specific needs, and guiding your recovery process to help you regain the activities you cherish.

Amie is a firm believer in the collaborative nature of the healing journey. She understands that effective treatment requires teamwork and open communication. Your goals and aspirations are at the forefront of her approach, ensuring that your therapy is a partnership aimed at achieving lasting results.

Outside of the clinic, Amie enjoys taking dance classes, trying new restaurants with friends, and attending live music performances.
