Melissa Lam is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist specialising in the treatment of orthopaedic musculoskeletal injuries. She’s known for her holistic treatment style, with an emphasis on treating the symptoms of the diagnosis and also looking for the underlying cause of the patient’s injury to prevent future conditions. Melissa completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Classical Music Performance and Economics from Gettysburg College.
With experience in the music industry, Melissa is familiar working with repetitive use injuries and educates her patients on improving proper alignment, bio mechanics, and quality of physical movements for musicians, singers, and dancers.
