Ivan Mah is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist who received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University - Brooklyn. While in school, he also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to pursuing his DPT, Ivan graduated from the University at Buffalo with his B.S. in Exercise Sciences.

Ivan grew up playing volleyball and continues to play competitively on a community team each year. He also stays active with other sports such as handball and weight lifting. As a regularly active individual throughout his life, he has sustained injuries from sports and activities alike. Drawing from his past experiences and academic knowledge, Ivan is particularly interested in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy.

He understands the road to recovery is a difficult one that may require lifestyle changes and modifications to daily movements.

Ivan strongly believes in treating each patient holistically by providing individualized care. In his experience, Ivan has seen tremendous progress when also addressing different factors outside of musculoskeletal impairments such as stress reactivity, social circumstances, coping behaviors, and attitudes towards the injury. He plans on obtaining certifications in the near future in specialized fields to become more well-rounded. Ivan is always striving to expand his skill sets and learn from his peers in order to give his patients the best treatments possible. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking national parks, traveling, cooking, trying new cuisines, and spending time with friends and family.
