Madeleine earned her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Following her graduation, she obtained extensive clinical experience in both outpatient hand therapy and acute hospital care. She gained experience treating patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgery, hand and wrist disabilities. Patients also come to see her for preventive care for shoulder, elbow, and hand pain, and postural and mobility issues.

She believes in a holistic approach to treatment that considers the person, diagnoses, and how all elements may affect both mental and physical well-being. Her commitment to patient satisfaction is demonstrated with a combination of positive patient interaction, high-quality clinical care, and patient education. Madeleine is dedicated to her patient’s rehabilitation process and continuously focuses on improving her patients’ ability to regain function in their everyday activities. She remains current with the trends and developments in her field by actively reading research and attending lecture seminars.

Madeleine’s passion for occupational therapy grew from her experiences as an athlete. She was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and has also had the opportunity to participate in the world of powerlifting. Madeleine believes that her ever-growing journey as an athlete has helped her to continue becoming a physically and mentally stronger version of herself every day.

Madeleine enjoys staying active with her love for weightlifting, swimming and running. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys exploring the city, finding new coffee shops and bars, attending rock concerts, and spending as much time as possible with her fiancé and pet pug, Bubbles.
