Dominick Vilsaint is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist who received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University, graduating with the Dean’s Outstanding Student Award. Dominick’s clinical affiliations and experiences at Upstate Medical University has provided him with a background in conducting and staying current with research and treating a variety of conditions including sports, orthopedics, and neurology.
Prior to pursuing his DPT, Dominick obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with Cum Laude Honors in Biology while a member of NCAA Division-I Track & Field team at St. Francis College on a full academic scholarship. Dominick’s passion for physical therapy has led him to work overseas to learn, provide aid and physical therapy in places such as Ecuador and Spain.
Dominick believes in the importance of patient education and using education as a tool to promote healthy behaviors to encourage better outcomes. Working in a variety of settings, he believes in a biopsychosocial approach and its usefulness in accomplishing patient’s goals. Dominick is motivated to enhance his understanding and knowledge of his field constantly pursuing continuing education courses.
Dominick seeks to create a fun and healing experience for his patients. He's an avid runner and weight lifter with a passion for traveling and volunteering.
