Marta Mamos earned her Master's in Physiotherapy with honors from the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2003. She has been a practicing physical therapist in the United States since 2007, specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation for patients of all ages and athletic abilities.
Marta holds certifications as a McKenzie Certified Spine Specialist and an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist. She is passionate about ongoing professional development, particularly in McKenzie and Maitland assessment and treatment techniques for spine disorders. She is also qualified to evaluate and improve workstation ergonomics to prevent back and neck pain.
Marta's personal interests include sports, outdoor activities, and cultural exploration. As a teenager she competed in speed skating, swimming, track and field and basketball. Now she enjoys working out, hiking, skating, swimming, and running. As an avid sports fan, Marta grew up watching basketball, soccer, and volleyball but has since learned to appreciate American sports and now will strike up a conversation about the NBA, NFL or College sports.
Marta is fluent in Polish and has some French language skills. She enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures through film, food, and travel. Her approach to patient care emphasizes active patient participation to achieve the best possible recovery outcomes. She is known for her engaging, straightforward, and focused demeanor.
