Lindsay Goodman is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist who received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate School of Health Professions, graduating with the Samuel B. Feitelberg Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence. Prior to pursuing her DPT, Lindsay graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Biology and also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.
Lindsay was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to train at ADPT by Cynergy during her last clinical rotation of physical therapy school. She received strong mentorship that allowed her to grow her skills as a performance therapist and solidify this environment as her true passion.
As an extremely active individual, Lindsay is particularly drawn to strength training and working with athletes to reach their fullest potentials to rehab, prevent injuries and excel in their sport. In addition, she is extremely passionate about the importance of nutrition to optimize body function and performance.
Lindsay truly enjoys educating patients on ways to achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle to ensure longevity and improved quality of life. She prides herself on her individualized personal care plans that are as fun as they are effective. As a person who lives and breathes PT, Lindsay is constantly educating herself on current research in the field and implementing evidence-based methods to offer the most effective clinical care.
In her spare time, you can find Lindsay weightlifting, running, hiking in national parks, cooking, and enjoying walks in Prospect Park with her puppy and husband.
