Erin Hart, MS, OTR/L, CHT is a New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist who specializes in the rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity orthopedic conditions and the fabrication of custom made splints. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University.
Her career started at an outpatient hand therapy clinic and assisted living facility in Long Island. She also has experience in school-based and mental health settings. Erin’s love for crafting and being creative has allowed her to become proficient in custom splint fabrication. Open communication and close contact with some of NYC’s most prestige hand surgeons has allowed her to provide the highest quality in patient care and create unique splints to accompany their innovative procedures.
Erin is dedicated to patient-centered care and uses evidence-based practices to guide her treatment. She delivers occupational therapy services to maximize independence in meaningful everyday tasks.
She is an active member of American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), New York State Occupational Therapy Association (NYSOT) and American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT). Erin is also a clinical supervisor for Occupational Therapy Master students completing Level II fieldworks. She stays current with the latest treatment techniques and research by attending continuing education conferences.
