Dorothy enjoys working in orthopedics including with athletes, dancers, and performing artists, drawing from her own experiences to understand the unique physical and mental demands that come with training and performance. After moving to New York, she also picked up running and quickly developed an appreciation for the running community. Following several personal knee and foot injuries, Dorothy became interested in treating runners and helping them build the strength, confidence, and resilience needed to stay active and perform at their best.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, Dorothy strives to create a supportive and individualized environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and confident in their bodies. She believes physical therapy should not simply focus on recovering from an injury, but on helping people better understand their bodies and return to the activities that bring them joy.
Outside of the clinic, Dorothy enjoys running around the city, dancing, pilates, soulcycle as well as hiking and skiing. She also loves exploring new coffee shops and food spots, watching movies, making charcuterie boards, and a good game night.
