Destiny received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at CUNY Hunter College. Destiny has always loved movement and exercise from a young age. She participated in many ballroom and modern dance competitions and cheerleading up until highschool. During her time in college, she began to enjoy weightlifting in her personal time while still enjoying long walks and hikes every chance she got!
Being active within her faith and church life made Destiny realize how much she enjoyed connecting with people. This helped grow her desire to help people in any way that she can. Physical therapy was the bridge between building strong connections and helping people return to the lives they love through movement and exercise. In her free time, Destiny enjoys serving in her church, going for long walks, hiking, eating, movies, and traveling!
