Kristen Spatz started her academic career at Elon University in North Carolina. During that time, she was an athletic trainer and graduated with her B.S. in Exercise Sport Science. Following graduation she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University.
While at Columbia, she had the rare opportunity to train in Sydney, Australia where manual therapy was founded. Kristen had one on one manual therapy training where she has honed her diagnostic and treatment techniques. It was there that she realized that working with the outpatient orthopedic population was her gift.
Kristen is an athlete herself with the intuitive understanding of the competitive athlete and the need to return to the sport. She has played basketball, volleyball and softball competitively and still enjoys being a participant in Zog sports in New York City.
She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and continually partakes in formal coursework to advance her skills further.
